A Brazilian man was returned for trial to Castlebar Circuit Criminal Court on June 19 to stand trial for his part in running a brothel and for possession of a false passport.
Joel Dantas De Souza with an address at Maystone, The Green, Dunmore, Galway, was served with a book of evidence against him in Castlebar District Court on Tuesday. Sgt Regina Curley told the count that on July 4 2011, she arrested and charged De Souza with management of a brothel at Chapel Lane, Claremorris, and with using a false instrument, namely a Portuguese passport on that date.
