The Flora Women’s Mini Marathon is coming to Galway on Friday to help the hundreds of entrants from the west in this year’s event.
The organisers will deliver all entrants’ numbers at Elverys Sports, Retail Park, Headford, and due to the large number, participants are advised to arrive early to collect their race numbers and the Flora Women’s Mini Marathon race pack and goody bag.
This year the mini marathon celebrated its 30th anniversary and, to celebrate, the organisers have packed the good bag with free gifts for all participants. Women taking part in the race will also have the opportunity to enter a competition to win a €1,000 shopping voucher for Littlewoods Ireland. The winner will be chosen for this fabulous prize after the June Bank Holiday weekend.
Muireann Fitzmaurice, a spokesperson for the event, commented: “This year’s event is all about celebrating the amazing women who participate to make this day such a huge success. We would like to thank every woman who has participated in the event over the last 30 years. We look forward to seeing you on Mini Marathon Day.”
Alternatively, participants can collect their race numbers and goody bags at The Woman’s World Show which will takes place in the RDS, Dublin on June 2, 3, and 4. This event is dedicated to women taking part in the event.
