THE GALWAY county final of the CU-Factor Talent Competition takes place in Leisureland, Salthill, this Sunday at 7pm.
This is the third year of CU-Factor and previous winners were the SL Dance Technics from Abbeyknockmoy and Headford Impressionist, Shane Cunningham.
A total of 18 acts have qualified for the grand finale and will include singers, musicians, rappers, and dancers from Glenamaddy, Clonberne, Ballinasloe, Loughrea, Portumna, Tuam, Indreabhán, Kinvara, and the city credit unions.
The overall county winner will receive the CU FACTOR Perpetual Trophy and a cheque for €1,000. Galway Bayfm’s Ollie Turner will be the compere and proceeds of the raffle go to the Make a Wish Foundation.
Admission is €6 and tickets will be available on the night at Leisureland door or in advance at credit union offices.
