Cost effective training for start-up businesses

Starting next week the Galway County and City Enterprise Board is rolling out a new programme of training courses in May and June designed and priced with the small to middle sized business in mind. The courses are also relevant for someone who is thinking of starting a business and not sure of the next step to take, or someone with an idea and not sure how to develop or make it happen.

Breda Fox, CEO of the Galway County and City Enterprise Board said the board recognises the fact that cost is a factor for smaller businesses and that the environment today is far more challenging for businesses.

“With that in mind we have put together a range of keenly priced and practical courses that will be of assistance to businesses”. Immediate booking is essential as places are limited.

Some of the courses planned are: Planning and Developing a website for your business (What you need to know ); A Beginners Guide to using Social Media; Ideas Generation and How to Kick-start a Business; Learn to Create your own Branded iPhone App for your business; and Guerilla Marketing.

Ms Fox added: “the Galway County and City Enterprise Board is the first port of call for anyone wishing to start or expand a business in Galway. We can provide financial supports for new or growing businesses. Training is a key support for all business, at every stage in their life cycle, our programmes will help you understand how we can help you make things happen”.
