SACHA BARON Cohen’s new film The Dictator will receive its world premiere at the Royal Festival Hall in London on Thursday May 10 and Galway audiences will be able to see it.
The Eye in association with Paramount Pictures will broadcast the red carpet opening event live via satellite to the cinema in Wellpark. The satellite broadcast will start at 6.15pm and the film will start at 7.15pm.
The Dictator tells the story of an autocrat who risks his life to ensure that democracy will never come to the country he has so lovingly oppressed. The film is not on general release until Wednesday May 16.
