A special Mass will be held tomorrow at 7.30pm outside the Grotto in the Dominican Church at the Claddagh.
The Mass is being held to remember Claddagh fishermen who tragically drowned 110 years ago as well as all those who have lost their lives on the River Corrib or in Galway Bay.
The event is organised by the Caledonian Mariners Community Boat Club. A wreath will be laid in the water after the Mass.
