The East City Primary Care Centre, in partnership with the Galway Camera Club, has recently launched a new exhibition of works by members of the club at the Doughiska-based health facility.
The 19 photos currently on display to the public depict an array of images, such as local landscapes, sporting events, animals, and local architecture.
Michael Bourke, chairman of the Galway Camera Club, said: “This exhibition in East City Primary Care Centre is in partnership and collaboration with the HSE’s Public Health Nursing Service, East City. We hope it brings pleasure and delight to the members of the public and patients that visit the primary care centre over the coming weeks.”
Commenting on the exhibition, Helena Heagney, acting assistant director of public health nursing, City East Primary Care Centre, said; “The Galway Camera Club has kindly allowed us to display some of their beautiful photos in our new premises at Doughiska. We have had a very positive reaction from people visiting the centre who say that the photos have added colour and charm to the health facility. We hope to continue to work in partnership with the Camera Club, and look forward to hosting other photo exhibitions at the centre over the course of the year.”
