Brigit’s Garden will host a Sole of the Garden exhibition over the May Bank Holiday weekend to celebrate the launch of its visitors centre.
Fair City actress and VIP Style Award winner Aoibhín Garrihy was at the garden in Roscahill on Monday to launch the exhibition by planting flowers in a pair of her favourite stilettos.
The exhibition will be a highlight of the Brigit’s Garden re-launch weekend, which will celebrate the opening of a new visitor centre at the gardens. Aoibhín Garrihy’s stilettos will be a centrepiece of Sole of the Garden, and the public are invited to participate in the exhibition and join in the fun by bringing a pair of shoes or boots planted with flowers or vegetables to the re-launch weekend.
The re-launch, which takes place from May 5 to 7, will be three days of festivities to showcase the new visitor centre with live music, children’s activities, and an opportunity to enjoy the gorgeous new garden café and the colourful new gift shop.
