RAY DAVIES, one of England’s greatest songwriters and the leader of the legendary band The Kinks will play his first gig in Galway in more than a decade this summer.
Ray Davies will play an intimate show in the Róisín Dubh on Friday June 22 at 8pm, ahead of his appearance at the Westport Festival of Music & Arts.
The Londoner is the author of numerous classic songs such as ‘All Day And All Of The Night’, ‘You Really Got Me’, ‘Dedicated Follower Of Fashion’, ‘Waterloo Sunset’, ‘Lola’, ‘Dead End Street’, ‘Tired Of Waiting’.
