Galway United has reduced its ticket prices for next season in a bid to generate more home support.
Having retained premiership status by the skin of their teeth, and heading into uncertain economic times, United are now looking to increase their season tickets as an important tool for survival again.
CEO Nick Leeson says the season ticket campaign is an essential part of the budget for next year.
"We have reduced adult season tickets by over €50 for next season, family season ticket prices have been reduced by €150, and admission prices will remain at the lower level of €15 for adult tickets."
"The season ticket campaign is an essential part of generating our playing budget for the 2009 campaign, and we are hoping with these reductions and with the momentum we had in the last series of games, that supporters will purchase as early as possible."
Holders will also receive 10 per cent reduction on all Rival Galway United merchandise available at Elverys Stores from December 8.
Season tickets admit patrons to 18 home league matches and domestic pre-season friendlies at Terryland Park, but not to League Cup or FAI Cup games.
