IRISH BAND The Empire Lights release their debut single ‘Momentum’ tomorrow and, as part of a nationwide tour, play Monroe’s Live on Saturday at 9pm.
Then band is fronted by Australian singer Sarah Star and they combine alternative pop-rock with modern soul while their influences range from Michael Jackson to Thin Lizzy to Coldplay. Hotpress has called them “the creme de la creme of hottest emerging acts in Ireland...Kings of Leon fronted by a Ronette anyone?”
