Galway Sinn Féin will launch its campaign against the Fiscal Compact Treaty tomorrow at 8pm in the Carlton Hotel.
There will be a panel discussion on the treaty and senator Trevor Ó Clochartaigh will explain Sinn Féin’s alternative ideas on the issue.
“This treaty will impose greater levels of austerity on citizens for an indefinite period of time. In other words it will mean ‘austerity forever’,” said Sinn Féin spokesperson Mairéad Farrell. “It is not just bad economics, but will prove a disaster for the Irish people
