Rahoon Newcastle Hurling club will host its annual Open Day for registration on Saturday from 3pm to 5pm at the club grounds in Tonabrucky.
The club promises something for everyone on the day, including donkey rides, bouncy castles and some action on the field.
Galway minor All Ireland medal winner and Rahoon Newcastle Club hurler John Hansbury and Galway senior hurler Tony Og Regan will be on site to give a small hurling academy, showing the skills of the game. Players should bring a hurl and helmet.
All old and new members are welcome to attend. All local primary school children will be in with a chance to win spot prizes on the day.
