BRITISH BAND The Feeling - best known for the songs ‘Sewn’, ‘Fill My Little World’, ‘Never Be Lonely’, and ‘Love It When You Call’ - play the Royal Castlebar this Saturday.
The Feeling have become one of the most popular acts in Ireland and Britain. Sixteen months of solid touring ended in May 2007 during which they had played more than 200 shows and sold over a million copies of their critically-acclaimed debut album, Twelve Stops And Home.
In February of this year, the band released their second album Join with Us, which debuted in the British charts at number one. More ambitious than its predecessor, it saw boogie pianos give way to rollicking guitar solos; harmony-soaked MOR choruses swerve into duels between harpsichords and string quartets; and some unapologetic prog rock towards the end.
Tickets can be booked through www.royal.ie, www.ticketmaster.ie, and through the Royal box office on 0818 300 000.
