The Old Galway Society will hold a public meeting on the history of the Franciscans in Galway city next week.
The meeting will take place on Thursday April 12 in the Mercy School, Newtownsmith, at 8.30pm. The talk will be given by Donal Taheny, the patron of the Old Galway Society. He was also a former teacher in The Bish. All are welcome
