• St Michael’s is holding an Easter Gaelic Football camp from Tuesday April 10 to Thursday April 12 in Westside from 10.30am to 1pm daily and is open to boys from ages eight to 13. Several members of the club's senior team will be coaching. The cost is €10. Download an application form from http://stmichaelsgaa.ie, or register from 10am at St Michael’s club house on April 10. • On Sunday GLTC hosted the annual Easter Club doubles events. In the men’s B doubles Francis O Connell and Pat Hynes won, with Eoin Brennan and John McKinnon runners-up. In the A event Al Waterson and Mike Geraghty were winners over Donal Hegarty and Joe Higgins. In the ladies Jennifer Bradley and Serena Silke tied on points with Marion O’Brien and Pat Folan in a round-robin event.

• Four of Galway’s top kickboxers will be in action in Dunboyne Castle in Ashbourne on Saturday. Current IKF 5 Nations champion and unbeaten fighter Gary Manogue from Castlepark and current IKF World bantamweight champion Nicola Collins from Limnagh will both take on experienced Dublin fighters over four rounds each. Stablemates Gary Giles from Claregalway and Bryan Merrigan from Oughterard will fight for All Ireland titles.
