Something for everyone at Kinvara Farmers’ Market

Kinvara Farmers’ Market will reopen its gates on Friday April 6 in the charming walled garden behind Johnston's Hall on the main street of the village.

Every Friday from 10am to 2pm customers can avail of a wide range of fresh produce including fish, free range meat, free range duck and hen eggs, cheese from the world class, prize-winning, producers of St Tola, along with other Irish produce cheeses, organic seasonal vegetables, root vegetables, fruit in season including strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries, fresh cut flowers, bedding plants, home-baked organic bread, soda bread, cakes and buns, jams, preserves, honey, pickles, pesto, olive oil, bagels, tea and coffee, soups, lunches, snacks, and hot German sausages.

The market also features craft items such as paintings, jewellery, soaps and lotions, and woollen jumpers.

Shoppers can relax and enjoy some freshly baked meals and treats, while listening to the weekly market musicians sing and play from a wide ranging repertoire — you can even contribute a ballad or two if you are so inclined.

There is plenty of choice among the stalls and a little bit of banter as well. The stallholders will be happy to tell you about their goods, share some recipes, and suggest accompaniments. All produce is fresh and the atmosphere always inviting. The market offers great value for your money, meet your friends, let your children play safely in the garden, listen to the music, and the smell and taste of good food will lift your spirits for the rest of the week. There really is something for everyone at Kinvara Farmers Market.
