FIVE GALWAY bands will be taking to the stage of the Headford Town Hall on Saturday April 7 for a night entitled Headstock.
The line up for the night is This Nachez, Sneaky Pint, The Metrognomes, Next Exit, and 9 Ideas. All of them play different kinds of music and all of them hail from Headford and the bands want this to be a day to be about the community.
“We want this day to be enjoyed by the locals and to show everyone that a gig like Headstock is not just ‘banging noise for a younger crowd’,” says Éimhín Cradock, drummer with This Nachez.
The organisers have made every effort to ensure that young and old will be catered for with music, food, and even a relaxation area for those too tired for the moshing. Tickets are €5. Doors open at 1.30pm and the event runs until 7pm.
