GOOD FRIDAY was once a day of severe solemnity but over the last few years it has become a day of laughter and merriment in Galway and that tradition is set to continue this year.
Irish comedy trio The Nualas are bringing their new show One Night Of Dignity to the Town Hall Theatre on Good Friday April 6 at 8pm. This will be The Nualas’ first Galway show in 10 years.
In One Night Of Dignity, The Nualas will be resplendent in glamorous and shiny stage attire and deliver self-penned numbers, scintillating vocal harmony, ambitious choreography, and plenty of craic, laughter, tears, and chat. There will be Nuala favourites like ‘Manolo’ and ‘Girl With a Cabbage for a Head’ alongside new songs like ‘The Sexy Farm Song’ and ‘Mummy Why Am I So Fat?’
Since re-forming last year, the comedy trio have enjoyed renewed critical and public acclaim. “The Nualas have put comedy and music in a blender and come up with a world class comedy soufflé,” said The Sunday Times. The New York Times described them as “wackily original” while The Scotsman said: “Genius. Kill to get a ticket.”
Tickets are available from the Town Hall on 091 - 569777 and www.tht.ie
