Plans by Mercedes-Benz to introduce the new Citan city van have been welcomed by its representatives in Ireland.
According to its commercial vehicles sales manager in Ireland, Fergus Conheady, the new Citan will be a “most welcome addition to the Mercedes-Benz family of vans”.
Due here in late 2012, it will propel Mercedes-Benz into the high volume end of the light commercial vehicles market where it has not been represented previously.
When introduced, the new Citan will take its place alongside the award winning Vito and Sprinter vans.
