St Jarlath’s College take on Edenderry (Offaly ) in Pearse Park in Longford this Saturday at 2pm in the All-Ireland Senior A Schools’ Championship semi-final.
The Tuam school is aiming to return to another Hogan Cup final after a narrow defeat in last year’s decider. They have had two tight victories against Roscommon CBS and Summerhill, Sligo to get to this juncture.
On Saturday the joint management team of Clive Monahan and Liam Quinn will look to team captain Adrian Nolan, Pa Glynn, Conor Cunningham, Conor Glesson and Sean Glynn at midfield and key forwards Shane Walsh, Sean Silke, Martin Farragher and centre-forward Liam Silke to lead the way.
Regular full back and Ted Webb star Cathal Reilly had a cast removed during the week from a broken wrist, but he is unlikely to be available.
