THE MUSIC of Nick Cave will be celebrated, sung, and performed in the Róisín Dubh on Saturday March 31 at 9pm by The Van Diemens.
The Van Diemens are Jack Healy (vocals ), Gavin Murphy (guitar ), JD Wilde (drums ), Cian Boylan (piano ), and Dan Bodwell (bass ), all of whom are experienced musicians who have worked and recorded with Van Morrison, Herbie Hancock, Camille O’Sullivan, and Mary Coughlan.
Nick Cave has spent his lifetime fathoming the depths of power of the written word through music (and occasionally novels ), amounting to some of the finest, most intelligent, and affecting music created over the last 30 years.
The Van Diemens will do justice to Cave’s peerless music and promise a show that will be the most convincing performance of Nick Cave’s music after the great man himself.
