LOCAL ARTIST Victoria Smith will give classes in drawing at the GTI for beginners and intermediate starting on March 20.
Classes will take place every Tuesday from 7pm to 9.30pm for eight weeks. The course will explore drawing techniques; use of pencil, charcoal, watercolours, and painting; and sketching from still life, photographs, portraits, abstract compositions, and landscapes.
Ms Smith will also give an introductory history of art class, surveying European art from the Renaissance to the 20th century, on Wednesdays from 7pm to 9.30pm, also in the GTI.
