THERE ARE plenty of great trad music and song events taking place across Galway city and county as part of Seachtain na Gaeilge.
Tonight at 9.30pm there will be an All-Irish Music Session in the Western Hotel, Prospect Hill. Admission is free and musicians, dancers, and singers are welcome. Another such session takes place at the same time on Thursday 15.
On Wednesday March 14 at 9pm there will be a sean-nós night in Tí Regan, Moycullen, with singers such as Johnny Mháirtín Learaí, Josie Sheáin Jeaic, Máirtín Tom Sheainín, Máire Pheter Uí Dhroighneáin, Treasa Uí Cheannbháin, Róisín Elsafty, Joe John Mac an Iomaire, Seosamh Ó Fáthartha, and Caitríona Ní Cheannbháin.
