GRACE O’MALLEY - clan leader, pirate queen, rebel, heroine, and Irish feminist icon, will be the subject of a new drama from ALâ Community Theatre.
ALâ is devising a show based on her life and is calling on the public to help out with the project.
“This project will be great fun with so many different elements,” says director Sarah O’Toole. “To do it we need a large cast including actors, no experience required, musicians, circus skilled people, dancers and other performers. We also need administrative and technical background people, makers, etc.
ALâ is also looking to hear from choirs, bands, and various social groups who would like to devise a section of the play, build props, make costumes, etc.
