MCD, one of the leading music and events promoters in Ireland, has applied to the Galway City Council for permission to stage a two day festival in Galway this summer.
MCD Productions have applied to the city council to hold an event in accordance with part XVI of the Planning and Development Act 2000.
The proposed event will be held in Terryland Park, Dyke Road on Saturday June 9 and Sunday 10. The planning application says it will be “an entertainment event featuring musical performances” and that the “anticipated capacity will not exceed 15,000”.
As yet there has been no confirmation as to what acts will perform at the two day event
