A DIVERSE line-up of acts will take to the stage at Citóg in The Cellar Bar tomorrow ranging from singer-songwriters to Soviet sci-fi and horror sounds.
Singer-songwriter Jenny Liston plays beautiful love songs with a keen observational eye and natural wit. She will be accompanied by Miceal O’Conner of No Banjo. Galway’s My Fellow Sponges are an inventive band led by Donal McConnon and Anna Mullarkey.
Horsemen Pass By should prove the highlight of the evening. This duo compose and perform music which they set to little known and forgotten films.
Using guitars, electronic beats, sampled horns and strings, and the occasional choir, their show promises weird visuals and music set against spaghetti westerns, Soviet sci-fi, 1950s documentaries, and zombie movies.
