Síomha Brock to launch debut EP with King’s Head gig

SÍOMHA BROCK is best known for being a singer with The Black Magic Big Band and covers band The Araby, but she also sings and writes her own original songs.

Síomha has recorded an EP of her own soul and jazz influenced songs and she will be promoting the EP with a tour of Ireland which starts in The King’s Head this evening at 8pm. She will be accompanied by Eoghan Judge (guitar ), Pat Corless (drums ), and Karl Clews (bass ).

She has played support for Brian Kennedy, Freddie White, and The Saw Doctors. She was a finalist in the recent Arthur’s Day Play On The Day contest and has been described by Hotpress as a “star in the making”.

The Saw Doctors’ Leo Moran said of her: “Síomha’s presence and powerful voice can fill a room on their own” and he praised her as a “fine guitar player”.
