I FELL In The Bog And Saw God, the dramatically titled debut album by Donegal/Galway trio Rural Savage will be launched with a show at the Róisín Dubh on Saturday.
The band - Farren McDonald (vocals/guitar ), Mosey Byrne (drums ), and Hob Junker (bass ) - play a style of music The Irish Times called “snotty, ragged surf-punk, garage-rock and bogbilly” that has “a few decent tunes lurking beneath their oily fuzz and buzz”.
Rural Savage have played the Electric Picnic and Flat-lakes festivals and supported Fight Like Apes, UK Subs, So Cow, and The Dangerfields.
The line-up for the night is a first rate selection of exciting Irish indie bands and features surf/garage pop-rockers Squarehead; Tuam punk-pop trio So Cow; and Galway indie-pop quartet Dott.
