Westside issues to be discussed at public meeting

A meeting to discuss issues of concern to people in the Westside of the city will take place this evening in the Westside Community Centre at 8pm.

The meeting is being organised by Fianna Fáil after concerns were raised by local residents on a number of local matters. Items to be discussed include an update on the Seamus Quirke roadworks, the proposal for the provision of the Primary Care Health Centre in the area, personal and mortgage debt, and anti-social behaviour.

The meeting will be independently chaired by Ralph O’Gorman and the speakers will be Fianna Fáil deputy leader and Galway West TD Éamon Ó Cuív and city councillors Ollie Crowe, Peter Keane, and Michael J Crowe.

The FF representatives will also be available to discuss any other issues of importance to residents. This is the first of a suite of public meetings to be hosted by Fianna Fail. All are welcome to attend.
