Galwegians interested in giving their homes a spring clean will have a good excuse to do so with Jigsaw Galway’s Big Clear Out on February 25 and 26.
Jigsaw Galway is a local, free, and confidential support service for those aged between 15 and 25 in Galway city and county. It provides information, listening, advice, emotional support, and guided self-help to young people experiencing difficulties in their lives.
For the Big Clear Out, Jigsaw is looking for Galwegians in the city and county to donate duvets, pillows, small cushions, clothing (adults and childrens ), blankets, sheets, pillowcases, curtains (including net curtains ), footwear (pairs ), and gym equipment.
Jigsaw also needs a variety of drop off locations throughout the city and county, and is asking businesses, community centres, residents associations, parish churches, and schools to become involved and to register as collection points for that weekend. All items will be passed onto Textile Recycling Limited for recycling.
