This week marks the start of the Chinese New Year - the Year of the Dragon - and Galway’s Chinese community will celebrate with a concert and performance to which the public is invited.
The celebrations will feature performers from Shanghai University Arts Troupe performing traditional Chinese music, songs, and dances. There will also be a lucky draw.
The show takes place in the Aula Maxima, NUI, Galway, this Sunday from 4pm to 6pm. Places are limited and seats are allocated on a first come first served basis. Doors are at 3.30pm.
This family event is organised by the Irish Chinese Society Galway and sponsored by NUIG and the Galway City Council. Admission is free and all are welcome.
