Winter slowly moves aside for spring

Winter, so far, has treated us very kindly and the mild weather means that the idea of ‘spring is coming’ is ever so close, and this year it is sooner than we may have expected.

We can now begin to dig out some colours from the back of the wardrobe and start to bring them to the forefront once again.

A colourful scarf or a top is a great way to reintroduce the notion of spring, however extremely bright colours may be a bit premature during these early months. The evenings can still be quite cold so why not wrap up in a pastel pink jacket or a warm red scarf.

The idea of moving from the knitwear to blouses and shirts is slowly creeping up on us. This look would particularly look well in the office or workplace and also trendy enough for a dinner date in the evening.

Also another great method of introducing the spring into your wardrobe is through accessories, a peach bag, or purple earrings.

Mix and match for a look that shows the many dimensions of winter and spring.

The main thing to remember is to remain subtle at the present time and slowly but surely add colours such as pastel shades of red, green, and blue.

Many retailers are beginning to introduce their springwear so why not jump on board and add a splash of colour to the warm cosy comforts of your winter outfit.

A brighter spring jacket is a must at this time of year, as the evenings are still quite cold and yet the days are mild and the sun is shining, so why not shine along.

Let us begin to kick-start the spring with our clothes — it will automatically bring a spring to our step.
