Galwegians are invited to take part in the Galway Walks/Operation Transformation event which takes place this Saturday.
The Galway Sports Partnerships, The Irish Sports Council, and Operation Transformation are inviting the public to choose one of two venues where they can participate in a walk - Salthill, starting at The Salthill Hotel at 11am for a 4.1km walk or at Moylough, starting at Moylough Church at 11am for a 3.5km walk.
Walks will be led by Irish Heart Foundation Walking Leaders. Participants must ensure they wear clothing suitable for walking and the weather conditions on the day
