Established and emerging Galway talents from the fields of pop, folk, and indie-rock have donated songs to a new album to raise funds for the Galway United Supporters Trust.
The Galway United Supporters Trust will launch Maroon Tunes, a compilation of 12 tracks by Galway artists, such as singer-songwriters Noelie McDonnell, Don Stiffe, Kelvin Busher, and Marc Roberts, indie/electro/trad musician Daithí O Dronaí, rockers Big Generator, and the great indie-rock band Toasted Heretic.
Maroon Tunes will be officially launched downstairs in The Cellar Bar, Eglinton Street, this Saturday. Music on the night will be provided by Vickers Vimy, admission is free and all are welcome. Doors are at 9.30pm.
All proceeds from the album will go to GUST. Maroon Tunes can also be purchased online at www.maroontunes.com
