COMMUNITY THEATRE ALâ will host a new season of workshops, starting Wednesday January 18 at 7.30pm in the Ballybane Community Resource Centre.
ALâ is a membership run, community drama organisation, run as “a space for learning, thinking, and expression” and is open to all ages, abilities, and nationalities.
Participants are invited to work in collective exercises, pushing their notion of working as an individual and at the same time working for/within a group.
No auditions and no experience are required. Members are encouraged through drama games and exercises to develop short plays that express something related to their lives that they would like to perform/share with an audience within the community.
