Take control of your health in a sustainable, natural way

During autumn and winter many of us fall prey to viruses such as sore throats, coughs, colds, and flu. Homeopathy can be very effective with these illnesses, while at the same time strengthening your overall health and immunity.

For less than the cost of a GP visit you can join a workshop to learn the tools and skills of homeopathic acute prescribing at a Get Started in Homeopathy practical one-day workshop in Galway with Thérèse Cosgrove, a registered homeopath practising in Athenry. Also commencing in February is a six-weekend course in homeopathy and nutrition which is designed to provide a solid foundation in the principles of homeopathy and its application for acute complaints. It is ideal for both the home-prescriber and healthcare professional seeking more in-depth knowledge and practice in women and men’s health, children’s health, tissue salts, and nutrition and healthy lifestyles.

During the day workshop participants will be taught how to prescribe for common acute complaints such as coughs, colds, flu, respiratory complaints, and minor injuries such as strains and sprains. Also covered are remedies for teething, stomach bugs, food poisoning, and exam nerves. Homeopathy is very effective in treating chronic or long-term conditions such as hay fever, recurrent infections, eczema, asthma, migraines, menstrual disorders, chronic fatigue, anxiety, and insomnia. Chronic complaints of this nature should be treated by a registered homeopath. A list of registered homeopaths can be found at the Irish Society of Homeopath’s website www.irishhomeopathy.ie For further information contact Angie Murphy, Irish School of Homeopathy, 01 8682581 [email protected], www.ish.ie; or Thérèse Cosgrove, Anu Health, 087 9623969, anu-health.com
