The ISPCC Galway is embarking on a campaign of recruiting new volunteers with which to staff their Childline services in the region.
The organisation is looking for people who have an interest in children and their right to be heard.
According to spokesperson Ann O’Donnell, this volunteering opportunity will have a main focus on the Childline service.
“If you have four hours per week to spare, then please come along to our group interview and information evening on Thursday January 12 at 6.30pm in our offices on the Headford Rd.” she said.
