Actors sought for short-film

THE ACTOR Séamus Moran, best known for his roles in Fair City and Ros na Rún, is looking for young actors in the west.

Séamus will be donning his director’s hat this spring to direct a short film, entitled Sylvia, as Gaeilge, funded by the Irish Film Board/Bord Scannán na hEireann under its scheme Gearrscannán 2012.

The film will be shot in Connemara and tells the story of 16-year-old Pól who buys a classic motorcycle named Sylvia in order to win the heart of the glamorous Eibhlín.

Five males and three females aged around 16 are sought for the film. Auditions will be held in Galway and An Spidéal today and tomorrow. Those interested should send a CV or biog and a photo to [email protected]
