Good Food Ireland calls on the Irish public if eating out or holidaying this Christmas to eat in restaurants and stay in hotels that are committed to using Irish food.
A study by the New Economics Foundation in London (www.neweconomics.org ) found that every £10 spent at a local food business is worth £25 for the local area.
Good Food Ireland is a unique all island industry organisation set up four years ago to identify for the Irish consumer and international visitor where to eat and stay to have a quality local food experience. It now has a strong network of almost 500 businesses and owners that are passionately ensconced in its philosophy. All can found and booked direct on www.goodfoodireland.ie
