Parentline, the national support helpline for parents, has made arrangements to be available to parents over the Christmas period.
Parentline is a support helpline for parents. It is somewhere for parents to turn to — they will be given time and space to talk and be listened to in complete confidence and without judgment, an opportunity to offload stress and be given some information and guidance.
The helpline number is 1890 927 277 or 01 873 3500. Over Christmas the line will be open until Friday 30 and again on Monday January 2. If the lines are busy or you cannot afford the call leave a number and you will be called back.
Parentline may not solve your problems but it will go some way towards easing the stress.
