IRISH TRAD-folk duo, Murray & Falkenau, and their band, will play The Crane Bar, Sea Road, this Sunday at 8pm.
Anna Falkenau is a German based Galwegian who has won acclaim for her Irish traditional fiddle playing. Ivan Murray is a singer/guitarist. On the night they will be joined by Mark McConville on bass, Ciaran Kelly on drums, and Lena Ullman on five-string clawhammer banjo.
Murray & Falkenau have enjoyed great acclaim for their music, with Irish Music Magazine saying they “bring the strange and wonderful to what is often a tired and jaded genre”, while Andrew Greenhalg in ReviewYou.com said they deliver “insightful lyrics and spot on performances with virtuosity and passion”.
