The Enable Ireland Bierhaus Bar-Boot Sale takes place in the Henry Street pub this Saturday from 2pm to 7pm.
The thought behind the Bar-Boot Sale is that everyone has items in their possession they may not be using anymore. It may be something that is too good to give away, but that you would be happy to part with for a couple of bob. The Bar-Boot Sale gives people the chance to sell their wares in a laid back, fun and friendly atmosphere.
On sale will be personalised Christmas gifts and cards, retro jewellery, vintage clothing, vinyl records, original artwork, T-shirts, badges, prints, and second-hand treasures. The Bar-Boot Sale will be donating the €10 cost for each stall to Enable Ireland.
There will be games of Connect 4 and a Wii that will be hooked up to a big screen. Contestants can pay €1 per play to test their skills and this money will go to Enable Ireland. There will also be mulled wine and hot cocktails as well as face painting.
Enable Ireland works with children and adults with physical disabilities in the Galway area helping them to achieve maximum independence, choice and inclusion in their communities.
Admission is free and all are welcome.
