GAUDETE, A concert of sacred songs and arias with a hint of Christmas, will take place in the Augustinian Priory, St Augustine Street, this Sunday at 8pm.
The concert will be performed by soprano Maeve Cairney, accompanied by pianist Morgan Cooke. Special guests will be the Galway Cathedral Choir conducted by Ray O’Donnell.
At the show, Maeve will perform classical pieces by Mozart, Bach, and Bizet as well as some of the more traditional Christmas favourites. “This concert will be an uplifting experience for all – a welcome break from the usual hustle and bustle of December,” said Maeve.
