NUI GALWAY’S Dramasoc will stage Enda Walsh’s Delirium in the Bank of Ireland Theatre on the university campus, at 8pm this evening, tomorrow, and Saturday.
Delirium is Walsh’s highly charged stage re-interpretation of Fyodor Dostoevsky’s novel The Brothers Karamazov. In this tragic-comic work, a hated father and his sons battle it out over women, money, and God. Behind them lurks a servant, taking note of it all and to the side, two beautiful women, clinging onto impossible loves.
Delirium is directed by Oisin Robbins. The cast is Eddie Mullarkey, Emmet Byrne, Freddie Timmins, Jarlath Tivnan, Sinead Jordan, Aron Hegarty, and Enda Clarke.
