Public talk on Galway’s best nature sites

The best and most interesting nature sites in Galway will be the subject of a public talk to be held this evening at 7.30pm in NUI Galway.

The Irish Wildlife Trust will host the talk, which will be given by ecologist Cillian Roden, who lectures in natural heritage at GMIT. He will present a short talk on his favourite Special Areas of Conservation in Galway and Clare, looking at habitats such as limestone pavement, bog, oak woods, fens, lakes, and the open sea.

All are welcome. For further information contact Lenny Antonelli, PRO, Galway IWT branch, on 086 - 1002540 or email [email protected]
