Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story is the multi award winning, world-wide smash hit musical celebration of the life and tragic death of Buddy Holly and it’s coming to the Royal Castlebar Theatre and Event Centre from Tuesday November 18 until Sunday November 23.
The show features such timeless hits as ‘Peggy Sue’, ‘That’ll Be The Day’, ‘Oh Boy’ and ‘Everyday’, from Buddy Holly, alongside Ritchie Valens’ ‘La Bamba’ and the Big Bopper’s ‘Chantilly Lace’.
The Royal Castlebar Theatre & Event Centre, which was officially opened in September, has firmly established itself as a premium venue for elite world-class events with an audience capacity of up to 5,000 people. Its programme for the coming months is jam-packed with a number of Irish and internationally renowned artists and productions including Shakin’ Stevens on Friday December 5, Daniel O’Donnell’s Christmas Show on Thurs December 11, The Saw Doctors New Year’s Eve Party, Here & Now Show – featuring stars from the 80s including Paul Young, Bananarama & Belinda Carlisle on Friday January 1, and Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance from January 3 to 9.
