Ciana Ní Churraoin from Cumann Liathróid Laimhe Micheal Breathnach Indreabhán capped off a brilliant year in handball when she was awarded the National GAA Handball All Star young player of the year for the second year in succession for her outstanding contribution to the sport.
Ní Churraoin has won eight national titles in handball this year and continues to be one of the great young exponents of the game. She will spend Christmas in Tucson Arizona with the Irish junior national team in preparation for the USHA Nationals commencing on December 27.
