Tiny Footprints, a book written by parents about their experience of having a baby born prematurely, takes place this evening at 6pm in The Ardilaun.
The book details some 80 accounts of premature births, including those in the Neonatal Intensive Care Baby Unit in University Hospital Galway.
Proceeds from the book go to www.IrishPrematureBabies.com charity. The 2011 range of Christmas cards will also be launched. Tiny Footprints will also be on sale in O’Brien’s Newsagents, William Street, which is selling the book without profit.
Refreshments will be served. Admission is free. This launch coincides with international Premature Babies Awareness Day. All are welcome.
