Movember, the charity event where men grow moustaches during November to raise funds for the Irish Cancer Society is in full swing, but there is a chance for Galway women to get involved too.
Women can get involved in Movember by dying their hair or engaging in fundraising work, or simply by supporting their husband/boyfriend/brothers/friends’ moustache growing efforts, are know as Mo Sistas, and Movember is seeking them to take part in an online competition to win a weekend in Dublin worth €1,000.
To enter Mo Sistas should register at movember.com and post your favourite Mo memory on www.facebook.com/MovemberIreland So did/does your dad have a moustache, were you infatuated with Tom Selleck in Magnum PI in your teens?
Whatever your favourite or most humorous moustache memories are, share them and be in with the chance to win the following prize package: Dinner for four in Coppinger Row restaurant, Dublin; accommodation for four at The Gibson Hotel, four Movember gala party tickets, Freshmilk Mo Sista T-shirt, Links Sweetie bracelet with limited edition ‘Mo Charm’, and TOMS Movember Classics shoes.
